Geography Bee!!!!!

This week and last week we took the questions to get into the geography bee. We are excited to find out who gets in. Some of the questions were hard and some were easy. We hope everyone sees it! Its very fun learning about geography. Last year Hadley Ott won from 4th grade. Maybe someone from Mrs. Ament's class will win.....!!!!!!!!!!!

Wax Museum

JA Bizztown!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole 5th grade is going to JA bizztown. We will experience economics first hand by producing and selling products, receiving paychecks and lots more! Cant wait to sell tons of products with our jobs!!! I hope our jobs are fun we are going to have an awesome expierence!!!!

Skateville

All 5th grade patrols are super excited for skateville on Jan. 5th 2012! We will be rollerblading for 3 hours and we will probably have a blast! If we fall on our butts we will be sure to cry! They have a huge rink and we get to buy food and fun toy thingys!!!

This week we are working on our time line project. We have to compose a presentation using technology, about a leader that we chose. Some options are Powerpoint, Comic Life comic, poster, Smart Notebook, or make a voicethread. In the end we will present our project.
Also, we are learning about environments.
