This is the first entry to the Fifth Grade is Fun! blog. Creating a blog is one of the many things I have wanted to try. Fifth graders have been blogging on their thinkquest account for some time now. I've seen how engaged they are with their blogs and enjoy telling others their thoughts. The purpose of this blog is to tell everyone how much fun we are having in fifth grade and all the neat things we are doing and learning.
My goal is to update this blog twice a week. Through the blog you can get insight into our classroom, ask questions, post your own thoughts and become more involved in your fifth graders day.

Wow! I was interested in your Humane Society Service Project you are working on in fifth grade. I have some interesting newsletters about animals that is sponsored by the Mn. Valley Humane Society. It is called the KIND newsletter. I will pass it on to your class. Ms. Thomas
